Key Ideas:
The idea of having a mobile application where users can track daily merchandise shipments, check on warehouse inventory, and drill into sales and revenue data has caught my attention. Using the most popular device in the market place is the best idea to adapt in today’s business world.

Impact on Business:
I must say that MicroStrategy had a convenient and useful idea of rolling out a mobile BI app by transforming iPad , iPhones and even Blackberry into a consumer gadget that is  definitely a powerful business tool. This mobile BI app is advantageous for the users in a way that it is literally portable. Carrying of their bulky laptops and patiently waiting for its slow performance will not be necessary anymore. A few taps from their gadget and there they have it. They will have the ability to get all the important information in their mobile devices where they can make on-the-spot decisions. This mobile BI application is very interactive as it allows the transfer of information between a user and the central point of a communication system. All these conveniences are expected to help increase the company’s productivity. On the other hand, I have noticed that MicroStrategy was not able to indicate how precise and accurate the data in the application are. Needless to say, it will have a positive or negative effect on their business decisions. In order to keep the data reliable, of course, it’ll cost them a certain amount to finance it which will then increase the company’s expenses.
